Olaf in der Beek has been a Member of Parliament at the German Bundestag since 2017. He is the main representative of his party, the Free Democratic Party (FDP), at the Development Committee. He is also a member of the Environment Committee and a deputy member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. The former entrepreneur is the deputy chair of two bilateral Parliamentary Groups who engage in dialogue with parliamentarians from Southern Africa and the Middle East.
