Naoko Hosaka is Chief of Education at UNICEF Haiti. She is currently in charge of the education portfolio of UNICEF Country Office in Haiti. UNICEF Haiti also a grant agent for GPE grants (COVID-19 grant and Accelerated financing).

Prior to joining UNICEF Haiti, she was a senior M&E Specialist of the GPE Secretariat, mainly supporting Francophone countries. She was also an active member of the task force on the alignment of external financing for education with country systems. She mainly worked on the knowledge management and knowledge generation on the alignment.

She also worked in Washington D.C. (WB), stationed in Madagascar (UNICEF), Somaliland (UNICEF) and Tajikistan (UNICEF), specializing in planning, M&E capacity building of government institutions.
