Ibrahim Sanon

Ibrahim is a Specialist in Education and Child Protection as well as a Certified Professor of Philosophy and Inspector of Specialized Education. He has more than 20 years of experience in training youth and mentoring the most vulnerable in society (i.e. children, adolescents and women). Currently, he is the Head of Mission in the Cabinet of the Minister for National Education, Literacy and Promotion of National Languages of Burkina Faso, thanks to his deep knowledge of the issues related to literacy and non-formal education. Ibrahim held several high positions in the Burkinabe public administration and mainly in the Ministry of National Education.

He was Technical Advisor to the Minister of National Education and Literacy, then Cabinet Director of the Minister and then Director General of Basic Education Research. He has also been ADEA's Focal Point to the Ministry (from 2012 to present), UNICEF Consultant, Programs Officer with Save the Children / Canada for the socio-professional reintegration of children in difficulty and Research Assistant at the Research Institute for Development (IRD). Since December 2018, he has been the new coordinator of ADEA's new Inter-Country Quality Node on Non-Formal Education (ICQN-NFE).
