Tara O'Connell is a Senior Education Specialist at the Global Partnership for Education. Tara previously spent several years as Operations Officer in the World Bank's Human Development Network - Education, working on School Health and Nutrition. Prior to this, Tara worked in the World Bank's Legal Advisory Services on the Public Health and HIV/AIDS cluster, addressing legal frameworks and legislation around HIV/AIDS. Before joining the World Bank, Tara spent a number of years working on health and education issues in the Pacific islands of Micronesia. Tara holds a Master's in International Development Studies from University College Dublin, Ireland. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.
