In this webinar, Diego Carbonell Gonzalez and Marianne Voigt will discuss the experiences of bettermarks and its partner Plan Ceibal in rolling out "PAM" - the plataforma adaptative de matematica (adaptive platform for math) - to the students of public schools in Uruguay.

PAM is the platform for adaptive math learning supplied by Plan Ceibal to the teachers of Uruguay. It consists of a Spanish language version of bettermarks' content for grades 4 to 10. It was localized and adapted to the Uruguayan curriculum by bettermarks with the help of local teachers.

bettermarks, a Berlin-based company that built an adaptive learning system for math for grades 4 to 10, won a public tender in Uruguay in 2012 and is rolling out the system in its fourth year.

Marianne Voigt is co-founder and Chief Financial Officer at bettermarks and Diego Carbonell Gonzalez is Manager for Latin America. Marianne helped build the largest German online real-estate market and co-founded bettermarks in 2008. Diego had an extensive IT career on four continents; after 12 years abroad, he returned to his native Uruguay in 2012 to lead bettermarks’ activities in the region.
