In this interview with Mo magazine (Belgium), Julia Gillard, Board Chair of the Global Partnership for Education, discusses the challenge of getting all children in school in developing countries, and the need to step up financing for education . She explains how GPE supports education systems as a whole, aligning its support to the government's plan and priorities.

As it campaigns for its 2018-2020 replenishment, GPE wants to raise US$3.1 billion from donors and become a US$2 billion a year operation by 2020. Educating the world's children is both to ensure that they are able to reach their full potential as individuals, and so that they can contribute to society.
