Increasing education budgets is essential to get more children into schools

The world is facing a crisis if countries do not increase their education budgets and get more children into school, warned Julia Gillard, chairwoman of the GPE during a a two-day conference on children’s rights in New Delhi, last week. She added that this was a crisis not just for the individual children missing out on school, but also at the global economy level.
