Op-ed: How Canada can help boost girls' education globally

This joint op-ed by Julia Gillard, Board Chair, and Caroline Riseboro, President & CEO of Plan International Canada, highlights the key role that Canada plays in supporting education and gender equality.

The government of Canada has been a strong supporter of GPE, having contributed US$147 million to date with another US$45.5 million committed. However, to ensure that Global Goal 4 is realized, Canada along with other donors will need to step up their support.
