Overview

The Board of Directors met in Paris, France on November 19-20, 2012 to discuss the following:

  • The implementation plan for the Strategic Plan for 2012 - 2015
  • Approval of 5 new program implementation grants in Burundi, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and South Sudan
  • Review of the list of indicative allocations for program implementation grants
  • Approach for review and assessment of Supervising and Managing Entities
  • Launch of a results based financing pilot
  • Guidelines for Effective Engagement in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Contexts and Accelerated Funding in Emergencies
  • Updates on pledge monitoring and resource mobilization
  • The upcoming Board member and Alternate Board member selection process for the 2013/2014 term
  • Support to civil society groups working to improve education in their countries.
