The numeracy community of practice is dedicated to raising awareness on numeracy education in low income countries, and showcasing work being done by local and international stakeholders.  The CoP hosts monthly webinars on topics ranging from early grade mathematics assessments, teacher training, classroom interventions, parent and community awareness, and national and international policy dialogues on early grade mathematics.  

The numeracy community of practice facilitating team is managed by the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Save the Children, and Creative Associates International to advance the global numeracy agenda.
