We are delighted to announce the winners of the Reading Changed My Life Photo and Video Contest which were selected by the public! After two weeks of intense voting with more than 7,400 votes, you have selected the top 5 photos and top 5 videos!

Congratulations to the winners! All of the winning entries are stunning and come from all over the world: Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, France, India, Nepal, Philippines, Turkey and the United Sates. Did your favorite photos or videos win? Check them out on our website!

Each of these entries has won a Kindle Keyboard 3G and now competes for the grand prizes that will be selected by a panel of judges. Our grand prizes are a Nikon Coolpix P510 camera for the winner of the photo category and a Canon VIXIA HF M500 video camera for the video category. And there will be more winners…. Remember that the contest doesn’t end here! The panel of judges still needs to select an additional 5 photos and 5 videos and choose grand prize winners from those semi-finalists.

Join us for our virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. EST to find out who the additional winners are. Connect during our live session with people from all around the world! We will be live tweeting! The link to this ceremony will be provided shortly.
