IDE 2022 webinar

On the International Day of Education, GPE will host an intergenerational dialogue that will profile youth leader voices and personal experiences around education and highlight how Canada and Zimbabwe are helping transform education for the most vulnerable children.

About the International Day of Education

The theme of International Day of Education 2022 is ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education’. It is an opportunity to showcase the most important transformations to realize everyone’s fundamental right to education and build a more sustainable, inclusive and peaceful futures.

It will generate debate around how to strengthen education as a public endeavor and common good, how to steer the digital transformation, support teachers, safeguard the planet and unlock the potential in every person to contribute to collective well-being and our shared home. The COVID-19 pandemic is a stark reminder of our fragilities and interconnectedness and that we can only transform together, through solidarity and cooperation.
