GPE contributes to efforts to improve education in Guinea-Bissau

GPE will contribute an additional US$4.7 million grant to a US$10.7 million donation from the International Development Agency through the World Bank to support a program focused on providing quality education for all in Guinea-Bissau, cites the Ministry of economy and finance.

The project aims to improve teaching and learning in primary education, and to encourage community engagement in the management of schools. Capacity building and curriculum review in targeted grades will also be part of this effort.
