At the Global Education and Skills Forum in Dubai, GPE Board Chair Julia Gillard talked about how to build on the momentum generated during the GPE Financing Conference, how countries can fund education effectively, and how to overcome barriers to girls’ education. She also thanked the United Arab Emirates for stepping forward and becoming the first Arab and Gulf GPE donor.

The sixth Global Education and Skills Forum took place on March 17-18, 2018 in Dubai. The event brought together leaders from the public, private and social sectors to find solutions that achieve education, equity and employment for all.
