In Chad, access to quality education remains a significant challenge. The Global Partnership for Education together with UNICEF and Educate a Child are supporting the government of Chad with a project aimed at strengthening education for almost a million children.

Initial results include building almost 1,600 classrooms, using eco-friendly insulation materials that help keep indoor temperatures down, and constructing hundreds of boreholes and latrines.
