GPE webinar series: Strengthening education systems through data management and analysis

In collaboration with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and International Institute for Education Planning (IIEP UNESCO); the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) organized this Webinar titled "Developing and Supporting Effective Education Systems: Example of the Data Must Speak (DMS) Initiative".

It focused on how data and feedback tools can improve education system management (in particular on the equity dimension) and enhance social accountability through community participation.

The panel elaborated on the Data Must Speak initiative, its key principles and objectives, as well as its implementation in Madagascar and Togo, and how it links with the Education Sector Plan (ESP). The initiative was supported by the Global Partnership’s Global and Regional Activities program, Hewlett Foundation and UNICEF Education Thematic Fund.
