GPE funded school improvement project in Kenya shows significant results
According to the findings of a recent survey, the top five schools in each region in Kenya that have registered significant improvement in student performance and institutional management are schools under the GPE funded School Improvement Program (SIP).
The report reveals that SIP, a Sh8 billion project under the Ministry of Education, is hitting its target of increasing early grade mathematics competencies and strengthening management systems. These schools that are currently excelling have previously performed below the national average.
