How Ebola has affected education in Sierra Leone

When the West Africa Ebola crisis arose in 2014-15 in Sierra Leone, schools were closed for eight months. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology commissioned an Emergency Radio Education Program with support from GPE and other donor partners which provided daily radio programming based on the primary and secondary school curricula in core academic subjects.
