December 2017 - The Global Partnership for Education Secretariat approved the following:

US$6,000 in additional financing for a program development grant for Cambodia

Description: The additional financing will complement the program development grant of US$154,325 approved in 2016. The grant closing date is also extended to May 2018.

The program development grant helps with the preparation of a better education sector program implementation grant proposal. This program is implemented through collaboration between UNESCO and UNICEF, key partners of the Global Partnership for Education, as grant agents, and the Government of Cambodia.

UNICEF has been nominated by the local education group to serve as coordinating agency in Cambodia.
