Ny Lova Rajonson
Education Specialist, UNICEF Burundi

Ny Lova joined the UNICEF Madagascar team in January 2011 in the education section. Working as a Program Assistant for about 2 ½ years at the beginning of his UN career, he was then promoted to the position of Education Officer in August 2013, a post he held until June 2015.

Afterwards, Ny Lova joined the International Labor Office (ILO) of Madagascar as National Project Administrator. He held this position from July to December 2015, the time it took to start the project and make it operational throughout Madagascar.

Ny Lova has been back at UNICEF Madagascar as Education Officer since January 2016.

In July 2017, he was selected to participate in a “stretch assignment” in Burundi's UNICEF office in the Education section. Ny Lova was able to contribute to the preparation, implementation, monitoring and success of many activities undertaken in this position, including the Back to School (BTS) campaign 2017/2018, partially funded by the Global Partnership for Education.
