Washington, DC, May 6, 2010 -- The Board of Directors of EFA FTI took important steps at its May meeting to broaden the coverage of its programs and heighten political support for education in low-income countries. It decided that all of the six Education for All goals will be eligible for its financial support, including life-long learning, adult literacy and improving the quality of education, with a continuing emphasis on basic education.
