Education Out Loud, GPE’s fund for advocacy and social accountability, is seeking transnational civil society alliances to carry out innovative multi-country advocacy to influence transnational and national policy frameworks.

This second round of grant funding, available as part of Education Out Loud’s 3rd component, will support inclusive alliances that enable the elevation of local and national voices into transnational policy arenas and the coordination of citizen action across local, subnational, national and transnational levels. Individual grants will range from between US$450,000 to US$1.2 million for a duration of up to 36 months and be allocated to alliances consisting of a minimum of 3 civil society organizations.

Managed by Oxfam IBIS, Education Out Loud provides support for civil society to become active and influential in shaping education policy to better meet the needs of communities, especially the most marginalized. With an overall funding envelope of US$55.5 million, Education Out Loud is the biggest education advocacy fund in the world available for civil society.
