Peter Wallet is a Project Officer at the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030. He co-leads the Secretariat’s knowledge creation projects to enhance global monitoring of teachers and their role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Peter also co-leads the Secretariat’s support and engagement with country members on the formulation of holistic and comprehensive teacher policy.

Formerly with the UNESCO Regional Office for Eastern Africa, he supported efforts in Rwanda to build capacity of the teacher workforce particularly on ICT in education, inclusive education and leadership through standard setting and training initiatives.

Before that, Peter played a key role in developing an international framework for monitoring teacher and ICT in education statistics at the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS). He holds post-graduate degrees in Psychology and Education from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
