Professor Gita Steiner-Khamsi joined NORRAG as Director in February 2017, with the aim of expanding NORRAG’s research capacities and outreach. She is also the KIX EAP Project Director. She has been seconded by Columbia University, where she is a Professor of Comparative and International Education at Teachers College, to strengthen the field of international education at The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She is holding a dual academic affiliation as a full professor, splitting her time between the two institutions. A past president of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES), she is actively engaged in the professionalization of international and comparative education.
