Oni Lusk-Stover

Oni Lusk-Stover is a Senior Education Specialist currently mapped to the East Africa Social Sustainability and Inclusion team at the World Bank. From 2017 to mid-2023, Oni co-led the World Bank Education portfolio for Liberia, supporting the Ministry of Education through three projects, including two GPE-funded projects, and analytical work focused on human capital development.

Since joining the World Bank in 2006, Oni has contributed to and led education projects and research initiatives in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and the Europe and Central Asia Regions as well as being the Gender Lead for the Education Global Practice for six years. Her areas of technical focus include education programs in fragile contexts, girls’ education, inclusive education, and public-private partnerships.

Oni holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and M.A. in International Comparative Education from Stanford University.
