Ana Pinheiro, currently an Adjunct Professor at the Paula Frassinetti Institute of Higher Education in Porto, Portugal, embarked on her professional journey in 1989 as a preschool teacher and pedagogical coordinator. She obtained her PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Porto and presently, she serves as an integrated researcher at the Centre for Research and Innovation in Education (INED) at Porto Polytechnic.

She is a Certified Facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY,® an advisor to Portugal’s Agency for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES) and a member of the executive committee of the Observatory for the Future of Childhood Education (OFEI).
