May 2018 – The Global Partnership for Education Secretariat approved the following grant:

US$200,000 for Benin to develop an education program

The program development grant (PDG) for Benin will support the development of a program to implement key areas of the education sector plan.

This program is implemented through collaboration between the World Bank, a key partner of the Global Partnership for Education, as grant agent and the Government of Benin.

UNICEF has been nominated by the local education group to serve as coordinating agency in Benin.
