2018 program development grant for Ghana

May 2018 – The Global Partnership for Education Secretariat approved the following grant:

US$400,000 to prepare a new education program in Ghana

Description: The program development grant (PDG) will support Ghana conduct preparatory analytical work such as the collection of primary data, stakeholder consultations, and the operationalization of the result-based financing component including the preparatory examination of the disbursement linked results (DLRs) and the indicators (DLIs). The grant will also support Ghana develop the related project document.

This grant will be implemented through the collaboration between the World Bank, a key partner of the Global Partnership for Education, as the Grant Agent and the Government of Ghana.

USAID has been nominated by the local education group to serve as coordinating agency in Ghana.
