Alvelyn Berdan is the National Coordinator of the Civil Society Network for Education Reforms or E-Net Philippines, a network of civil society organizations engaged in policy advocacy and partnerships for education reforms. Prior to rejoining E-Net this year, Alve has served as the Social Policy Research Officer of the organization in 2012 where she dedicated her time in education budget advocacy and implementation of various women and literacy programs.

In the past decade, Alve has been involved in planning and implementation of corporate social development programs, and various researches on population development, reproductive health, resettlement, migration and agriculture, education and literacy, and tourism development.
