The overall aim of the School Health Integrated Programming (SHIP) initiative is to create a foundation by which countries have the awareness, capacity, and operational and technical resources to include school health and nutrition (SHN) into their education sector plans.

SHIP was developed and implemented by Sightsavers and the Partnership for Child Development (PCD), with supervision and funding from the World Bank, as part of the GRA funding mechanism through the Global Partnership for Education.
