Cristina Álvarez is the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) Campaigns Manager. She is a campaigning and public affairs specialist with over 10 years of experience in international development, public policy, and human rights issues. She holds a Master’s degree in international development, as well as postgraduate courses in political communication, campaigning and public affairs. Prior to joining GCE, Cristina was the Coordinator of GCE’s national coalition in Spain for four years, and worked as research coordinator in Oxfam’s GROW campaign for more than two years. Cristina is passionate about human rights and communication in all its forms and believes in the power of education to change the world for the better.
